Cool Knowledge:Snow Flakes

Snow is unique in that every tiny snowflake forms
itself around a very small speck of atmospheric dust,
a range of things from volcanic ash to space particles.
A snowflake's shape depends on different factors such as
temperature, humidity, speed of descent and wind.
Fresh snow is almost 95 percent air. This makes it a
an insulator. Think of snow cave's.

Snow isn't necessarily always white. Reports have told
of red, yellow, and black snow. This is rare and probably
caused by ash, pollen, or soot in the air.

Cool Knowledge:Finding your Car

If you are finding yourself parking at a large parking
lot or garage where you might not find your way back
to where you car is parked, here is a tip. Take a photo
with your cell phone (most people are carrying these
now) of the nearest marker. In an airport garage for
example the sign might be on a post or pillar stating
color, level and row.
