About Dolphins and Whales

How About Dolphins and Whales

A Welsh scientist discovered that dolphins living
off of the coast of Ireland use a different "accent"
or "dialect" from those found near Wales.

Researchers believe different environmental
conditions might be contributing to the distinct
dolphin vocalizations, including thier whistles,
barks, and groans.

Scientists concurrently discovered that blue
whales by the Pacific Northwest sound different
than those by the Chilean coast.
