Its your time!

Its your time!

I love this line: Away from work, I try my best
to stay 'in the present.'

It seems like there is no time to do anything for myself
these days. With work and family there is always something
going on.

I put the personal things and goals I wish to accomplish
at the bottom of the list and then never get to the bottom
of the list. I remember hearing or reading the following;
wherever you are, and whatever you're doing, and whoever
you're doing it with ... that's YOUR TIME.

It remindes me of another line I heard, 'no matter where you
are going, there you are'.

You must take ownership of that time. When taking my son
to baseball practice this was his time. When reading to my
little girls it was thier time. My time would come later.

I lost days, weeks years thinking this way. And now all
that time is past and gone.

I am tring now to make all my time away from work my time.
Story time is my time. Baseball or Gymnastic practice is my
time. Time at the store is my time. Birthday parties for the
children is my time. Its all my time if its the present and I am
in it.
